Reduced SKU launch time from months to days by architecting a Kotlin service that consolidated feature-access and subscription logic spread across every QuickBooks page - freeing product and marketing teams to access pricing configurations without engineering involvement. Scaled to 2,000 TPS in production.
Identified an unmet need during a hackathon and built a full-stack developer platform with Typescript that gave internal teams a self-serve UI to create and manage feature configurations without any code changes, accelerating service adoption by 60%.
As sole technical lead, owned end-to-end integration of a feature management platform into QuickBooks' core legacy backend serving 6M customers - designing, implementing, and rolling out with zero disruption to existing user flows, and ensuring future SKU launches require no backend code changes.
Shipped QuickBooks Free by creating the limit-enforcement layer across multiple UI features. Validated the feature management platform's architecture by spinning up the new SKU primarily through config, driving a 10% increase in upsell conversion.
Led a team of 3 engineers in designing and building a distributed PySpark batch pipeline to backfill a Cassandra cache with 40M user subscription records. Eliminated a cross-team data dependency and improved downstream API latency 6x.
